治療薬解説dio-renal Disease Endpoints（ALTITUDE）試験，高齢患者におけるイベント発生率および死亡率に対するアリスキレンの効果を検討するAliskiren PreventionOf Later Life Outcomes（APOLLO）試験，慢性心不全患者における心血管イベント発生率および死亡率に対するアリスキレンの効果およびアリスキレンとACE阻害薬の併用効果を評価するAliskirentrial to minimize outcomes in patients withheart failure（ATMOSPHERE）試験，急性非代償性心不全患者において生存率および再入院に対するアリスキレンの効果を検討するAliskiren trial onacute heart failure outcome（ASTRONAUT）試験など，多くの大規模臨床試験が進行中である．これらの試験からアリスキレンの降圧薬，循環器薬，腎保護薬としての正確な位置づけが明らかになることが期待される．参考文献1）Brown MJ：Aliskiren.
